Diagnosis and endoscopic treatment of bladder tumors.

Extracorporeal lithotripsy for kidney stones.

Medium and Surgical treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy.

Endoscopic treatment of bladder tumors.

Interest research areas: Research on prognostic factors of urological malignancies, with particular interest for prostate cancer, renal cancer and urothelial tumors. Additionally, research on the markers for the diagnosis of prostate cancer and stagnation.

– December 2008 – December 2009: Research Fellow at the Cancer prognostics and Health Outcomes Unit of Montreal, directed by Prof. Pierre Karakiewicz; he has done extensive research as part of the main urological diseases, focusing especially on prostate, kidney and urinary tract cancer;

– June 2012 – March 2013: work experience at the Urology department of the National cancer Institute in Milan, directed by Dr. Roberto Salvioni, where he deepened his knowledge in the medical and surgical aspects of penile and testicular cancer;

– June – July 2013: Clinical Fellow at the Urology department of the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, directed by Prof. Peter Wiklund.
